We’ve all seen footsteps in the snow

Did you ever wonder where they go?

Then when the sun comes out they disappear

Then you don’t even know they were here.

 

This is sometimes like our life on earth

We work and work for all we are worth.

But when the end of life comes and we know it will

Did your life count for God? Did it fill the bill?

 

What bill am I talking about many of you ask?

Did you do what the Lord wanted, did you do that task?

Money, fame, possessions and all that earthy stuff.

Many of you know, you just can’t get enough.

 

But they won’t matter in the great hereafter.

All those earthly things can lead to disaster.

They can destroy a life we all know it’s true.

So be faithful to Jesus in everything you do.

 

Spend time with Him everyday

Study your bible and continually pray

Let people see that you are a child of the living God

As a true child of God you will be considered odd.
