As I get on my knees and pray

I ask the Lord to coach me what to say

When I meet hurting people along the way

It seems now that's almost every day.

 

This world is in a mess and that we all confess

It seems everyone is frighted and confused

because of financial and government power misused.

It seems like we the people are now daily abused.

 

Rely on Jesus to be your one true friend

All others can fail you but on Him you can depend.

Even your closest family members can desert you now

They can find another way to live without you, that's how.
