As I walked into our local grocery store yesterday
I saw a grocery basket with damaged goods on display.
These dented and damaged cans were selling at a reduced price
They had the same ingredients they just didn't look as nice.
When everything seems out of control remember “All is Well”.
Sometimes in my own life you couldn't tell.
It seemed everything was going wrong for me.
Some of you have had this experience I'm sure you'll agree.
Don't let the mistakes of yesterday ruin today.
This is the advice from the Bible, it's God's blessed way.
The enemy will always remind you of yesterdays mistake
His function is to make you miserable and feeling fake.
Sometimes when I'm sitting on my throne
It's a time I can talk with God now I'm all alone.
No cell phone Ipad and such to interrupt this time'
This maybe weird to some but this is time is mine.
So many people today are living under tremendous stress.
They are overloaded with work and their life is a mess.
Many are working under 'unsustainable pressure' today
Their workload is slowly killing them day by day.
My poem today is simply, “Don't limit God.”
To some, probably many, this sounds odd.
If you are a child of God, you have advantages over most.
We are highly favored, and protected by the heavenly host.
Sometimes when things look bad and bleak
This is the time to rely on God all through the week.
Amazing things can happen in a moment of time
Things that looked impossible can be yours and mine.
We've All Heard the Term “You Can't Take it With You”
But have you ever thought “What if I could”?
This is something that most have never considered, it's true.
Well you can take it with you depending on what you do.
'ONE MORE TIME' is my message today.
This will create hope in a very special way.
So many are living today in guilt and shame.
Thinking that their life will never be the same.
I actually like Monday's...Why you ask?
This is a brand new week, Another opportunity to complete my task
The task that the Lord has given me the talent and ability to do.
So how do you feel about Mondays, my question to you?
We have people running for office that can destroy
All that I enjoyed since I was just a boy.
Things that seem unthinkable in my life
Are now being forced upon us creating heartache and strife
Some days I feel like I'm losing the battle, it's true
Seems everything I do goes wrong, how about you?
I can almost see Satan laughing and enjoying my frustration
However, I know that Jesus can help me without hesitation.
Today my poem is about having an abundant life.
A life God intends for us without worldly strife.
Our God wants his children to prosper exceedingly
We were created to be blessed He tells us repeatedly
When I see all the trouble in the world
I ask the Lord what can I do?
We all know that this world is upside down
and things are degenerating rapidly it's true
Spending time with my Jesus is a pleasure.
Spending time with Jesus is a treasure
Sometimes our busy schedule limits our time
Maybe not yours but it tries to limit mine.
