Today my poem is about having an abundant life.
A life God intends for us without worldly strife.

Our God wants His children to prosper exceedingly.

We were created to be blessed, He tells us repeatedly.

El Shaddia, a name of our God, means more than enough.

He doesn't want us to go through life always having it tough.

He is our loving, heavenly Father that gave His only son to die.

So here's my suggestion today, it's something to try…

Go through the day saying God takes pleasure in prospering me.

Don't let those negative forces tell you how it used to be.

Yes! Today is the start of a brand new life full of blessings.

And, thank God for the yet unseen and continue confessing.

You are a child of the most high God that has resources untold.

He wants you prosperous and blessed, and no good thing will He withhold.

Please don't settle for a mediocre life, just getting barely by.

This is your season to be blessed. So, today — tell your lack goodbye!
