It's such a privilege and pleasure
to live in Burke, a town that I treasure.
Here are people that truly care
The taxes and utility costs are very fair.
Our police force is small of that we are aware
But knowing how good it is, crooks don't dare.
We are also privileged to have an outstanding mayor
To have all these benefits in a small town is indeed rare.
Our volunteers are also so conscientious, they're beyond compare
When the emergency whistle blows, you know they'll be there
Some residents take all of this for granted, it's true
But I love living in the great little town of Burke, how about you?
We have a local paper "The Burke Gazette" that gives us all the local news
If something is happening here we can expect to get all the reviews.
Our grocery store is also beyond compare, for what ever you need, it's there.
We also have many churches to meet our spiritual needs because they also care.
