I no longer need this huge home now I'm alone
This makes me realize that everything we have is only on loan
That is, until I reach my heavenly home.
Then all the treasures that I have sent ahead
They're not loaned, will be mine forever instead
The treasures will be jewels in my crown up there
So if I don't have a lot of treasures here now, I don't care.
How will we handle it without taxes or all those bills
And there will be no sickness, so no medicine or pills
Another question is what we will wear what will we eat?
I have a lot of questions to ask as I sit at my fathers feet.
I'm sure there will be a time of adjustment for all
It will be a total transformation for us after all
So enjoy your life here now with your treasures on loan
You sure won't want or need them in your heavenly home.
