As I read my devotional in Psalm 12 today,
I realized the dilemma we are now facing
Was almost the same as in David’s day.

As David looked around and saw all the violence and strife
And realized that King Saul and his army sought his life.
He sought the Lord God for wisdom and protection each day
He wouldn’t listen to the ungodly advisors and what they say.

Our country is in a great decline because of wrong decisions
These decisions were not made after consultation with Almighty God
Just the idea of suggesting this consultation would be considered odd.

Unfortunately we Americans are all now paying the price
This could have been avoided had our leaders sought the proper advice
Now the results are getting worse everyday. Our future is not looking nice.

But don’t give up if you are a Christian serving the Lord today
With just a few of us and Jesus we are a majority, Hooray.
We have read the book and in the end we Christians will win
Just do your best to be a true Christian and don’t give in to sin.
