For something I did or say or didn't say
As I recall the day's events I realized that I fell short again
to do everything I could and things I ought. where or when
When I see people, even relatives, that need a helping hand
I want to be God's instrument in this God's once blessed land.
Yes now the USA has, on a whole, turned it's back on God.
I will be the man of God I should be, and will be con-sided odd
Things, we see, are getting more precarious for us everyday
It's not the simple life we older generation lived yesterday.
Now things look like they are spinning out of control
But be assured God is still in charge and will once again make things whole
It might not be today or tomorrow that's not for us to say
But looking at the present worldwide events it could be any day.
Jesus is coming back to fix this mess , He's the only one that can.
In the meanwhile let's all be God's very special woman or man
