This world is not my home,

I’m only here for a few years.

I am actually a citizen of heaven.

A place with no sickness, pain or tears.

 

I am living here on this earth 

As an alien and ambassador of God

In my daily life I continually try to be

A true Christian. Many call me odd.

 

But the Lord has assigned to me and

Other true Christians a specific task

To let others know this world is 

not all there is. I tell all that ask.

 

The world I’m heading for is really

My home in heaven for evermore

Living with Jesus my Lord and Savior

This is what we were created for.
