I must admit that now I”m retired
I sometimes feel like I have been fired.
I was a busy Naturopath Doctor for 25 years
Now when I see all the sickness I’m in tears

I really felt I was helping people everyday
Now, unlicensed, I am careful with what I say
Many people don’t believe in me now
So I just help friends that ask, that’s how.

So many don’t believe in natural healing
I get their reactions, I now get the feeling
That many want to believe the medical TV ad
Listening to their warnings makes me very sad.

Before we had big pharmacies promoting their wares
We had many old fashioned remedies without scares
I do believe in progress but please don’t forget
Is it always better to prevent a sickness? You bet.
