Today I asked Jesus, “What do you think of Santa Claus?”

by Dr. Anthony Murphy writer
Today I asked Jesus, “What do you think of Santa Claus?”
He answered me without a pause
He is a distraction to take away the real reason
He is a diversion for the real reason for the season.

Yes, Satan always creates substitutes to lead many astray.
It was the same in times of old as it is today.
Santa Claus is promoted as Good ole Saint Nick.
Many children and adults believe in him, a Satanic trick

Everything about Santa Claus is designed to distract
This poem will not be popular. How did you react?
Sometimes the poems I write create anger with some.
I only want to give credit to Jesus, the only true one.

When we all stand in front of God and we all will someday
When he asks :”Who did you believe in” what will you say?
If you trusted is in Santa Claus and Rudolph and his slay
Then Satan succeeded and was able to lead you astray.

Diversions are an old and very successful way
Designed by Satan to lead many astray
Just stay true to Jesus. He is the real reason for Christmas today
He came as a baby, born of a virgin, is why we celebrate this day
