Good news! God is not mad at you or me.
That is sometimes hard to understand, I agree.
When we do things that are wrong called sin,
He only requests that we ask forgiveness again.

Then we turn from this sin and we are forgiven.
God wipes the sin off, and won't even remember when.
This is hard to comprehend, people are not like that.
I can still remember, when my wife and I had a spat.

It's so good to know, that our God forgives us everyday.
And He will always pardon us, come what may.
This kind of love called Agape, is hard to understand,
when we try to get away with wrongdoings, yet He doesn't demand.

Demand that we beg for forgiveness, plead, and fast, and pray.
No! God and His incredible attributes, has a much better way.
He, as our loving Father, only wants the best for me and you.
The Holy Spirit that dwells within us, tells us what to do.
