Two men were walking down the road one day.
Let's listen closely to what they had to say…
They were talking about a man who came to Galilee,
who cured the sick and lame for all to see.

His name was Jesus and He did miraculous things.
He said He was the son of God and could forgive sins.
At first everybody doubted what He claimed to be.
Then He was falsely accused and nailed to a tree.

We think that was the end of this incredible story now.
But, as we are walking, this man comes to us and tells how.
How that on the third day He would rise from the dead.
And, this man Jesus would live forever in heaven instead.

Now we know, the master we serve is truly God's only son.
He was who He claimed to be, He is Jesus. The only one
that can forgive our sins and save our souls from going to hell.
This is the “poem of the day” God instructed me to tell.
