I Love to Fish as Many of You Know

Whenever I get the opportunity, I will usually go.
I've always believed that worms will catch a fish.
But not today, my dream of a lunker turned into a wish.
After an hour or so, I reeled up my rods, shaking my head,
this isn't what I planned. I wanted fish, but instead
I went home with an empty creel, and wondered why.
It seemed everything failed no matter what I would try.
Sometimes life is like that, we try to get that fish.
That fish could be anything we desire or that we wish.
No matter how hard we try, no matter what we do,
we don't always catch that fish, I'm sure it happens also to you.
But know this… God has a better plan for you so don't despair!
He knows what you want and need, and we are in His care.
Some of the things we hoped and prayed for, were not in His plan.
His plan is always the best for every girl, boy, woman and man.
