Blessings and burdens are twins in this life.

You get them both in happiness and strife.

You can always count on them to be together.

They will be with you in all kinds of weather.

For example when you ask and get something new.

It gives you a brief time frame of happiness it's true.

But after years and the newness has gone and yet you still pay.

Now it doesn't look that exciting to you in the same way.

That bigger house, the new car, or that promotion you craved then.

The bigger house is more to clean and the new car depreciates when

it leaves the car lot, you know this is true and your promotion is now hard.

Oh, and I forgot with the new house comes a much bigger upkeep yard.

Benefits are great and we all appreciate them this is very true.

They help fulfill goals and dreams for me and you.

Blessings always comes with burdens, it's just a fact of life here.

But God doesn't change, He loves you and is always near.
