Sometimes we make a mistake that we didn't even realize was wrong.

Sometimes we make a mistake that we didn't even realize was wrong.

We did things we thought were good and helpful all along.

This was the kind of mistake I made that cost me the volunteer job I loved each day.

I apologized and didn't realize what I did was wrong, is all I can say.

My conscience was clear, I thought I was doing something good.

I only wanted to help someone in need, I want that understood.

But, I unknowingly, violated a trust when I contacted that person in need.

As a retired doctor and active chaplain I was just doing a good deed.

Now I will regret my termination for the job I loved to do.

I hope I was an asset while I was helping,--my motives were always true.

I will attempt to find another volunteer job that can use my talents and skill.

I know I will dearly miss working at the Idaho Senior Center, Yes I truly will.
