The next time you go fishing,

and you’re sitting there holding your favorite pole.

Fishing for that lunker again that you think,

Is living in that deep dark hole.

 

Now think about the men in the Bible,

That became”Fishers of men”.

And how their lives made a difference.

To many folks that would be “born again”.

 

Living your life as God’s fisherman.

Will give you a very great reward.

To know that person you witnessed to,

Accepted Jesus, now their heavenly home is assured.

 

Just like when you’re fishing,

You don’t always catch a fish.

But just knowing that even Jesus.

Couldn’t catch all that he wished.

 

All you can do sometimes is just plant the seed.

And let the Holy Spirit do the rest.

It sometimes takes time, it’s true,

Before they decide to accept Jesus as Lord.

and then they will be eternally blessed.
