When I watch old re-runs on TV

by Dr. Anthony Murphy writer

When I watch old re-runs on TV
It makes me remember how life used to be
The good guys always wore a white hat
and it was rare to see a child acting like a brat

The good guys always won the fight
And the beautiful maiden was a delight.
Bad language and sex was never allowed
That's when America was moral and proud

Unlike today where everything and anything goes
Some of the scenes could make you curl your toes
The rating don't seem to discourage like it should
I would like to ban all of these bad movies if I could

Someday soon when we stand in front of the Lord
And He opens the book and checks out how you scored
I hope and pray you've accepted Jesus as your Lord
So when we that are saved are raptured you will also be on board
