Twas the night before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas
and out of the road
Joseph and Mary headed
for their evening abode
---------------------------------------------
The Bethlehem Inn
was what they had in mind
But all the rooms were full
and nothing could they find
---------------------------------------------
Wait! said a man
that worked at the Inn
I know a place you can stay
he said with a grin
----------------------------------------------
It's not very nice
but it is warm and dry
Mary nodded a thank you
and let out a  sigh

----------------------------------------------
He took them to a stable

and showed them a warm dry stall
This isn't what they had in mind
for the greatest baby of all
-----------------------------------------------
Joseph fixed a bed in the stall
He then helped Mary with the birth
What an awesome feeling to hold
the most important baby on earth
------------------------------------------------
 The baby was named Jesus
just as the Bible had foretold
He lived the perfect sinless life
As told by the prophets of old
-----------------------------------------------
He grew in strength and stature
and amazed the crowds each day
with all His wisdom and miracles
Who is this? Is all they could say.
-------------------------------------------------
His birth was a miracle
and salvation is too
Accept Him as your savior
He gave His life for you.
------------------------------------------
Jesus wants to be your savior
And also your best friend
He'll never leave or forsake you
He'll be with you till the very end
-------------------------------------------
Now you can chose Heaven or Hell
But that's your only choice
Accept Jesus as your Savior today
and let all the heavenly host rejoice.
