Now that I am alone in life 

now that I recently lost my wife.

I can, however,  rejoice in this fact today

That Jesus will never leave me, He is here to stay

 

Our loved one's will all experience death someday

But we can rejoice in Jesus, come what may

Our life here on earth is temporary, just a few years

And while we are here we will experience joy and tears

 

But thank God this isn't all there is for us that believe

Someday in heaven the Bible tells we will all receive

A crown of life and rewards for the good we have done.

And we will live forever in heaven praising God's son.

 

God sent His only son Jesus to show us the true way

How? By accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior today

You can also be assured that you will have eternal life

In heaven forever where there is no sickness, death or strife.
