We've All Got a Secret Frustration in Our Life

by Chaplain Anthony Murphy Site Admin

We've all got a secret frustration in our life.

Something that we don't understand and causing us strife.

How we handle that frustration matters to God.

To an unbeliever, our trusting and calmness seem odd.

In the Bible, many had a frustrating situation too.

Paul had a frustrating “thorn in the flesh” — it's true.

Sometimes that secret frustration is in what you do.

Or, it could be an illness affecting your family or you.

But, realize that God knows all about it and really cares.

He loves us unconditionally and is involved in all our affairs.

He is working out this frustrating challenge for our own good.

Something that for many of us, wish we could say we understood.

This is when our hope, faith and trust in God comes into play.

That something will change and improve miraculously — even today.

Some things have plagued many, including me, for countless years.

But, be reassured, God knows and has counted all our tears.
