As I look around and see all the unhappy people, I want to cry.

It’s so hard to cheer them up, The Lord knows, with my poems, I try.

Their empty, boring, unfulfilled life, it seems, is all they’ve ever known.

They spend their life complaining, frustrated and yes, even moan.

 

Jesus came to earth to give us joy, happiness, prosperity and more.

He wanted to teach us how to live a Godly life, and He keeps score.

Yes, when He opens the books of life someday and looks at me and  you.

Will you be happy knowing you did your best and is that true?

 

We all need to realize this will happen to all of us one day.

I can only imagine what I am going to do and say.

Everything we said and did in this life is in the book.

Would you want all your family and friends to take a look?

 

Fortunately we can get the sins and wrong doings erased, it’s true.

How? If we confess our sins and repent. This is what we all must do.

Then all those sins are erased and can be seen no more.

I’m sure we all would appreciate a much, much better score
