Today is the first day of the rest of my life

How I choose to live determines my strife.

If I choose to live a Godly life from this day on

With all this turmoil today, I must remain strong.

This day, today, is a special gift to you.

Have you already thanked God for what you plan to do?

Yesterday is history. Things happened you didn't expect.

Many were blessings, to thank God don't neglect.

Let's have an attitude of gratitude throughout the day.

Think on what you think about and what you say.

We can look at our problems now and even smile.

Knowing that God is fighting our battles all the while.

Is the Lord telling you to do something today?

Something that in reality you would say “No Way”!

Is there a small inner voice nagging at you?

Urging you to do this feat, I'm talking to you.

America don’t you realize what’s going on?

This is the blessed nation that was so very strong.

Now we are laughed by countries large and small

Now they don’t fear or respect us at all
