This nations leaders have taken us so far
That we wonder if we could ever return
To the God fearing country for this I yearn.

I pray today that I may help another soul
Not being selfish, but under His control.
We all need the hand of God to lead and guide
It’s so reassuring to know He is by my side.
Did you realize your every deed is a seed?
When you help someone that has a need
You are pleasing by God, yes indeed
You are the hand, so to speak, that can feed
Fear today is always here
Fear today is always near
Fear is the False Evidence
That is Appearing very Real
However, fear is not the real deal
Sometimes poems come to me thick and fast
Other times, like today, I wonder if this will be my last
When I am inspired to write as the Lord directs
I don't realize the impact of the poem and who it will effect.
